Hawkstar: Chapter 1The little kitten named Hawkkit, was a brown and tan she-cat. She had no idea what awaited ahead of her.
She played with her brother and sisters and finally, her brother, a undersized tabby tom pinned her down. Hawkkit hit the ground and it knocked the breath out of her. She let out a big huff of defeat and went limp.
Her brother named Strokekit loosened his grip and Hawkkit jumped up with all of her might and hit Strokekit so hard it knocked him to the hard bear ground.
She pounced just barely a mouse length away from his rusty colored tail and landed on top of him, rolling around playfully as they tugged and pulled at each others ears tails and ears.
They had just opened their eyes a couple moons ago and were beginning to train already. Blood Clan was in need of more warriors and even if the kits were just two moons, they'd still be trained.

PrologueAs Hawkstar bound across the battle field a huge grey tabby tom soared out of the underbrush and sunk his nails into her broad shoulders. With a thud she fell to the dry ground and rolled onto her back. The grey tabby tom named Archeye slashed at her soft stomach as Hawkstar fought to throw him off. After a few more thrashes and caterwauling she threw him off and bit him hard on the back of Archeye's neck. His body lay there lifeless and Hawkstar ran into the clearing where a ginger she-cat was sneaking up on Pineheart. He was distracted by another tom, Hawkstar saw that the old tom was just a tail length away and she sprang and caught the warrior by the haunches. They both tumbled to the ground and landed on their sides. "Why, you'll pay for that!" Caterwauled the tom at Hawkstar. He bounded at her and just before he hit her, Hawkstar sprang into the air.
